The most important thing to remember when mounting the monitor in this position is to have the Shoe Plate of the Accessory Shoe rotated 90 degrees pointing in a horizontal direction. This way the Ball Head can only move side to side instead of having it fall off if left in the vertical position.

CAGE CONFIGURATION:In this configuration the 4" Flashtrak has been used to mount the external monitor to the Scorpion EX Pro Kit in the DSLR Cage Configuration. This setup keeps the camera rig compact and allows the operator to instantly switch from handheld to a tripod. Excellent for Run & Gun shooting because the operator can keep their hand directly on the camera and still operate the camera controls.
